This is a novel written by Md. Muklesur Rahman, a
Bangladeshi blind writer. The book contains 51 pages but some of pages are free
for all readers. The main characters of the novel are Koushik, Shikhar, Faria
and Ferdusi. Koushik, a Bangladeshi blind starts his graduation from a public
university. But at the time of his study he introduces with a girl named
Ferdusi. As in Bangladesh, a blind has no scope to get text book, he is to
depend on other for his study. However, Ferdusi is from a poor family took
Koushik as an arm of her financial support and decided to complete her study by
Koushik's cost. Koushik falls in love with her and Ferdusi finds an easy way to
fulfill her desire. When they fall deeply for one each other, they start living
together. But Koushik wants to prove his love pure and wins her heart for
marriage. So, he never tries for any sexual relation with her. When Koushik
notices that he is to carry on her all living costs, he expresses his desire to
marry her. But the selfish girl does not agree to marry him for being blind.
Rather, she insults him severely and tortures him seriously. To get rid of her
torture, Koushik runs madly and makes an accident with a track. A foreign lady
takes him into hospital and by the grace of almighty he gets back his eyes.
Then Koushik paints Ferdusi from his imagination and decides
to compare his imagination by seeing her for once. But at this time, Ferdusi
changes her house and nobody can say about them. At the time of death, the
foreign lady gives her daughter Faria to take care off as Koushik's own
daughter. When Faria grows up, Koushik wants to know how his daughter will
treat a blind if he loves her.
In meantime, at the way of university's campus, Faria
observs a blind who is walking alone and nobody come to help. While he is to
face an accident with a rikshawa, she holds his hand and goes for his
department. Some of her friends starts insulting her for holding a blind's
hand. This very incident bounds her to love him. Koushik knowing this, started
testing his daughter's intention by insulting Shikhar using some unpleasant
words. Finally, when Koushik understands that Faria really loves Shikhar, he
goes for market in order to complete his
daughter's marriage.
After finishing market, Koushik suddenly heards Ferdusi's
voice and knew that Shikhar is her son and for being blind she throughs him in
a paddy field. After this, Koushik dies by heard attack and Ferdusi goes to
Shikhar for forgiveness. But when Shikhar refuses to forgive her, she decides
to pick up her eyes. Latter, Shikhar informs her it will just increase a blind
on earth but will not be able to reduce the pain of Shikhar and Koushik. Rather
if she should utilize her eyes to those people who has no eyes or parents,
perhaps this will reduce their pain and after world she will be forgiven. Then She goes back crying, where is media, give a message to all women so that they never play with a blind's love. May be the Almighty will send a blind son to her womb as revenge.
